棠中机器人代表队在国际机器人奥林匹克竞赛中勇创佳绩

　　　　　　　　　Great Success in International Robot Olympiad

　　From December 12 to 24, 2008, the Tenth International Robot Olympiad was held in Kuala Lumper IIUM University, Malaysia. In total, there were 1200 people from 18 countries took part in this concert.

　　With the help of Mr. Xiong Bing, Yang Qiheng, a student of TangHu Middle School, won a Special Award and received an opportunity to represent Chinese team to compete in the final competition. He is the pride of our school.

　　At the same time, the robot competition of SiChuan was held successfully. Five students represented our school to join in this activity and all of them won the first prize. They were thought highly of by the host and brother schools.

　　2008年12月12日至24日，第十届国际机器人奥林匹克竞赛在马来西亚吉隆坡IIUM大学举行。来自18个国家，650多位参赛选手，260多位指导教师，300多人的参展商和观摩人员，共计1200多人参与了这次国际机器人盛会。棠湖中学高一学生杨启恒在熊斌老师的指导下，斩将夺关，以优异成绩从国内选拔赛中脱颖而出，顺利进入中国代表队，前往马来西亚参赛。

　　经过精心的赛前准备与激烈的赛场角逐，杨启恒同学荣获最能代表我国机器人水平的“特别奖”，为国家和学校争了光。

　　同时，12月27日，2008年四川省中小学生“网络活动”机器人大赛成功举办，棠湖中学派出5名选手参加了高中组非手持常规赛，全部获得一等奖，得到了主办方和参赛兄弟学校的高度评价。
