感想

　　在2004年的夏天,我参加了棠湖中学外语学校中美英语夏令营.我学了很多关于英语及美国文化的知识.我们练习了口语和听力.这是一个很好的机会去学习英语.我大有所获.这让我感受很深,如下:

　　外教从不指责我们的缺点和错误.当我们不能回答他的问题时,他们总是不生气.他们认为每个人都会犯错.假如一个人犯错了,他们并不认为这是一件奇怪的是.他们总是说你完成得很好.他们总耐心地告诉我们正确答案,鼓励我们.虽然这让你感到很尴尬,但你的英语会用长足的进步.是的,享受丢脸.更多的错误让你更大的进步.

　　外教都很有趣.他们不像中国的老师,中国老师十分严厉,他们只是让我们学习.外教经常画一些有趣的图画帮助我们理解这个单词,经常画一些很漂亮的图片,然后问我们这是什么单词.让我们做一些动作,然后猜这是什么,让我们做一些游戏.我们从中学了一些单词.他们也给我们看一些书去理解文化,单词,人物.这课堂十分活跃,我们从中学到纯正的英语.

　　FEELING

　　In the summer of 2004, I joined Camp China. I learnt a lot of knowledge about English and American culture. We practice spoken English and listening. It`s a very good chance to study English. I’m duly rewarded. That makes me deep impressions on me like this:

　　Foreign teachers never criticize shortcomings and mistakes that we make. When we can’t answer their questions, they never get angry. They think everybody can make mistakes. If one makes mistakes, they think it’s not a strange thing. They always say that you’re very good. They are all patient to tell us right answers and correct the pronunciation. Though it makes us feel embarrassed, English has greatly improved. Yes, Enjoy losing face. The more mistakes you make the more progress you make.

　　Foreign teachers are really funny . They aren`t like teachers in China . Chinese teachers are really serious. They just let us study .But foreign teachers often draw some funny pictures when we can`t understand the words .Chase usually draws a great picture and asks us how to say this word. Mittzi asked us to do some actions and guess what this is. Whitney asked us to play games . We learned some words from it.They also show us some books to understand the culture,the words and people.The class is really lively.And we can study pure English from it.
