"Don't let me down,”my mother told me at the beginning of the Camp China. And I decided that I would do as my mother told me.
In the first week, I couldn't fit in the new environment fast because I couldn't talk with foreign teacher. Initially, I felt a little afraid. But a short time later, my Chinese teacher - Mia - found my problem and she encouraged me to talk with foreign teacher as much as possible. If I did like that, I would just learn something in Comp China. So, I did my best to talk with my foreign teacher - Patty - in the scond week. Patty was very kind and patient, no matter how slowly I spoke, she could wait for me. Since then, I was more and more confident to talk with Patty and other foreign teacher. Even, at the middle of the scond week, my friends and I invited Patty to have meal with us!
Of course, there were many funs in Camp China. In the part, we could play many ball games. For example: football, basketball, table-tennis and so on. During the games, we met a lot of friends in other classes and made friends with them. In the afternoon, we often watched foreign movies, and felt customs in other country. And we had a very fun trip in the scond weekend. We caught a bus to Qiang Village and Wolong Nature Reservation park. We first visited Qiang Village. The guide took us to climbed the pillboxes and special houses. The people there were very warm and friendly. They told us much about Qiang Village and taught us to dance in the party in the evening. The next day, we visited Wolong Nature Reservation. The pandas there were very lovely and we took many pictures.
Time flies, Camp China will be over in a week, I really don't want to leave it, leave school, leave my foreign teacher - Patty -, leave my Chinese teacher - Mia - , leave my friends. At first, I thought the Camp China was a waste of time, but now I have learnt a lot of things from it,not only in study, but also in living--I can wash clothes by myself now! And from the Camp China, I know that when studying English you can't only write but also speak as often as possible, if you do it as that, you can just learn it well.
Now, I can tell my mother loudly" I haven't let you down. I have learnt a lot from Camp China 2004."
